3,000 Guild Wars 2 Players Banned
// September 4th, 2012 // Gaming
Over 3,000 Guild Wars 2 players were banned this weekend in a wide swinging lesson to players. The players were caught exploiting a bug in the system which allowed them to purchase a valuable karma weapon from a vendor at an unusually low price. The players were then selling the weapons to other players at a huge markup thereby “upsetting the Guild Wars 2 economy”. Players were only banned for 72 hours but it sure messed up their Labor Day weekend gameplay.
