Germans ban laptops in parliamentary meetings so Pirate Party shows up with typewriters instead [Photo]

In an apparent throwback to elementary school days, the German Council of Elders banned all laptops from parliamentary meetings. In protest, the Pirate Party showed up with typewriters instead (see photo below).

They were apparently concerned with noise from laptop fans and security risks posed by mobile devices. They also banned use of mobile phones and social networking sites too.
