Motorola Droid 2 Smartphone

Motorola has announced more phones that will not be upgraded from Gingerbread (Android 2.3) to Ice Cream Sandwich, making clear the reason for their previously announced policy of only introducing a few new handset each year. Some, including the Droid Bionic, Droid 4, and Atrix 2 are still up in the air.

Right now the list of axed devices include Photon 4G, Electrify, CLIQ 2, Admiral, Droid 2, Droid 3, Droid Pro, Droid X2, Milestone 3, Milestone X2, and Motorola pro.
