Near collision between KC-135 and AWACS airplanes during refuel attempt forces sudden zero-G descent to avert disaster [VIDEO]

In the video below, a NATO AWACS aircraft is setting up for a mid-air refuel attempt.  He does not line up properly and falls outside the limits of the boom.  The AWACS detected the limit, and automatically triggered release of the boom before refueling could begin.  All is good so far but wait… The AWACS suddenly surges upward coming with inches of colliding with the refueling airplane before the pilot quickly goes into a zero-G descent to avoid the collision.
